Um I'd just crawl under and look if I were you, but unless you've changed them out Ford normally puts in non-greaseable ones from the factory I believe.
Look at the U-joints themselves in the corners there would be grease fittings called Zirks
This is what a zerk fitting on a U-joint looks like:
If they're stock, they won't be greasable.
You just reminded me: After 150,000 miles of non-servicable front end parts and u-joints, I forgot to lube 'em all when I did my last oil change! Oops! I know what I'm doing when I get home tonight...
I just got the Precision #270 Greasable U-joints for my 1996 Explorer rear driveshaft and the grease fitting (needle zerk type) is in the package with the snap lock rings but there's no hole in the cross body. Do I have to drill & tap my own hole? If so, where exactly do I drill?
I took a closer look and the hole for the zerk is on the end of one of the bearing caps... duh...
