THAT THING IS AWESOME!

When you taking out on it's maiden offroad voyage?

Ryan

you forgot cupholders:p:

other then that it looks awsome:thumbsup:

They sure are pretty!

Don't mess them up in Moab;)

Thanks for the comments - -

Stic-O: Thought about the cupholders, can still cut out the "arm rest" area and drop in some marine style cup holders, or maybe just rig up some bike style holders on the inner door skins - - which are still under construction...

Really looking forward to Moab, with the windows on hopefully won't be too bad of a drive. . .

Colin - Coming back to Moab?

That looks great Paul, so can you jump in without opening the door?

That's how I'd roll.

Got to put the Stars and Bars on the roof plus "General Lee" first. . . Besides, I'm too vertically challenged for that kind of crap...

Find your gas money for Moab yet? ? ?

WOW!!! Those turned out awesome. I see you already have the holes drilled to mount the windows. Are they going to be done by Moab? That could be a long drive with no windows.

When do you plan on heading East for Moab?

Windows should be done this week; if not then iPod and headphones for the drive. . .

Still working the schedule, but probably heading out Wednesday noonish with the intent of driving non-stop to Moab on the "Red Eye" (Red Man, Red Bull, and Red Mountain Dew). What's your plan?

Paul

Leaving Tuesday afternoon/evening and meeting Kenny Ray at the WildHorses Casino (72777 Hwy. 331, Pendleton, OR‎) And chillin for the night there. Probably leave there pretty early Wednesday morning and drive all day. There is a small rest stop on the right hand side of U.S. 6, about 31 miles from I-15, mile post 203, just before the hills that we will probably crash at for the night. Should put us into Canyonlands about Noon to 1pm or so.

Something like this

Riiiiiiggghhhttt..... :D

Paul, we need to french in some cup holders like Stic-o said and those doors will be perfect!

I wish I was coming to Moab this year, but it's not in the cards.

Ken wins every time. I go throw my obligatory $40 on the black jack or craps table and then mosey out to the camper and have a couple of beers. He comes out way ahead and we make him pay for breakfast :D

Beeaaaauuuutiful

Perfect Spring day in the Pacific Northwest - - 75 degrees, all sun, what better time to get my windows. . .

Still a test fit, going to snug them up in a week, (so not so much "Moab Ready"... )

7 Months Later - Time to Finish Up. . .

Okay, so maybe not the most dedicated mod - - Seven months from concept to completion (is it ever really "complete"?), but here's a few photos once I put the door skins back on (just today, mind you). . . .

Part of the problem was that I painted the Royal Blue vinyl with black paint - -and the vinyl was sticky for . . . . . MONTHS!!!!

Anyway, here's the finished results - - at least they are done before Moab!! (2010)!!!!

Wow - Great work man! Looks real sharp with the custom soft windows/ skin.

That really looks fantastic Paul. Lot's of attention to detail there:biggthump

those are friggin awesome, nice work!!!

Thanks for the comments, they worked out well this weekend while snow-wheeling out near Natches.

Going to add some weatherstrip around the interior door handle cut-outs to smooth out the opening and call this project: "Done!"
