hey we are just glad you are alive. Just get it out and take your time....
To bad you weren’t closer; oh if you were closer you wouldn’t be in this predicament.
Mabee use a chain saw to cut the ice around your truck. Then use the excavator to break it up around the sides. Then mabee rent space heaters from somewhere, to melt the ice around it. Just a thought.
I already suggested the space heaters twice, he said something about they don't do much which I.....I dunno. I know the one I have would easily melt all that if you just put a tarp over it and left it running. Mine also has a damn big kerosene tank on it so if you let it run all night I am positive you would return to a puddle with your truck in the middle.
A space heater like this shoul do the trick, just piont and shoot.
I would not mind using one of these...
can't wait till spring
Chainsaw is one of the best ideas yet!
Thats why i get payed the big bux!
It would appear that way with your current build up! :
You should put dry gas in your gas tank to help the gas from not freezing, if its not too late. Hope all goes well with your truck.
Stuck Truck 2007!!! Continues!!
If only i had read this thread 3 weeks ago
LOL hey man we have all been stuck but not in ice...that adds a lot to the process...hope you get it out.
3 weeks holy crap
THis has got to be a first.
Hope its still there. Never heard of a vehicle sitting that long with out some assh&le vandalizing or stealing something.
ya thats crazy i have been stuck 15 miles in the mountains in 10 feet o snow took about 4 vehicles and 10 people 1/4 mile of cable and blocks to get it out lol took a week i would go crazy 3 weeks but what can ya do
W O W 1350 ft of cable.
did you get out yet?
and i did the EXACT same thing you did, but i was lucky enough top have a buddy there and my front end didn't sink with the truck.
All i did to get out was get towed by another truck. In your case i would highly suggest getting a buddy out there man, but im sure thats already been established!
Indeed had to use several blocks on different trees and angles to get 1/4 mile down this snow drift then hook it to each vehicle and pull it out from up the way on dry ground started with 1 vehicle then 2 came to help stuck as well then used one as a mule with the cable and blocks lol was a fun week
If not a chainsaw, I would use an ice fishing auger, drill holes all the way around it. And pull it out in one icy slab.
Dude, you need to find the "." on your keyboard. You're driving me nuts, come up for air.
we freed my dad's F-250 today for the first time since before X mas..
I am guessing he wont leave it parked up in the back of the house (dirt road, up hill, kinda hairy) come fall next year!
Took us 3 days of effort, lots of help from the sun, lots of shoveling, and finally my locked BII with a strap to get him out
At least someone is getting un-stuck in this thread
so jamie is this his truck
