limited bumper cover over XL bumper????

I was wondering what would it take to fit a "limited" front bumper cover on a 96 XL front bumper>. Im trying to hide or get rid of the metal/chrome in the front. I saw that some members has had there metal painted to match the truck. I think the Limited bumper cover would be easier and more cost effiecent.
From looking at my bumper, i see that the plastic molding would have to come off.....Can i just bolt the Limited cover over that?

From what I've heard, all 95-01 bumpers are interchangeable...

I think its a whole inner frame. I got a better idea though. Get a 98-01 mounty bumper cover, I'll give you my factory bumper thats cut up, put it all together and paint it white. That would be sick.

But if you want my factory mounty bumper (no fogs and slight trimming) its yours
