It has been around 0 here lately. New Ex V8 fires up easily, but the airbag light goes on and stays on until I restart the vehicle... I hope no one else is having this issue, but it is a hard one to prove to the dealer, especially with the weather warming up soon.

My 2006 E.B. V6 has done the air bag warning on two recent cold mornings. Warm restart same day had no light.

We are now up to FIVE times that the airbag warning has come on at first cold start of the day. It still goes out and stays out on subsequent warm restarts. Also Sunday marked the third day in last two months where battery was too weak to crank over after sitting unused for only one or two days. Good thing I drive a tow truck...2005 F450 6.0 liter powersmoke.

Michael,

I have had the same problem with the battery being dead. Ford has actually replaced my battery twice now.
