Hi all, just picked up a '97 XLT, 4.0L V6, 4 spd auto, power everything, dual power seats, rear a/c and radio controls, fog lights, premium stereo, etc. 70k miles.
This is my first Ford vehicle since 1994 when I owned a '94 Mustang GT convertable, so I am pretty unfamiliar with Ford as a whole. My last car was a '99 Hugger Orange Camaro SS, 1 of only 3 produced ever, a '99 Ram Air Trans Am before that, and a '94 Z28 before that, so you can imagine the Explorer is quite a different ball game for me.
I needed another vehicle with enough room to haul the family and found this car for a great deal, so hopefully it's as good a vehicle as the reviews and sales figures say it is. I'll be reading up a lot and hopefully learning a lot about my new vehicle here. C-ya.
Jeff
