coil spacers are made.. painted.. ready to go on with the Skyjacker axle pivot brackets hopefully this Thursday. getting some help from a friend with a garage and lift. i totally underestimated how heavy that front bumper and winch are. alignment the next day, rotate the coopers to save the unevenly worn fronts and i should be ready to break something else. in the meantime heres a random pic
Almost a year later.... any updates lol.
my new three favorite letters... SAS
Doin one now?
as soon as i get some garage space.. FIL is working on a ditch witch in his spare bay.
parts will be arriving this week
SAS is almost done.. http://www.explorerforum.com/forums/showthread.php?t=342066
trees happen.. sometimes
new front bumper, BOOM.......
That is one sweet bumper !!!
in cab winch controls.. for when its cold outside and warm inside the truck lol
its winter.. time to throw some money at this pile. keep your eyes peeled for sneak peaks.
wooooooooo I have a fan, hell yeah buddy lol
Watching for updates. Hopefully if my drivetrain survives the winter we need to get together in the spring for some trail runs. Unfortunately I got the o/d flashing light of death and have a horrible noise coming from either the trans or the motor, already had a bad timing chain tensioner rattle.
So what are these future winter time mods??
oh man.. i cant give it away yet, prep work starts in the next couple weeks then the real fun starts after a couple new years day rides.
i will say im getting rid of my rear swingout bumper, so someone needs to buy it and my front that i still have.
I wish.. that would be awesome.
Anyone have any tricks to getting the seat belt receivers out? That torx bolt is in there good and tight.
Heat is about the only thing that works that I've found.
Like midnightrebel said heat. I got mine out using a propane torch while my brother turned it with a long ratchet
i bought an impact driver from the snap-on dude.. lets see how many torx bits i break.
Are you chopping the top of the cargo area off?
