well the only thing i have done lately besides drive it here and there is i relocated my cigarette lighter I drove it out to someones house.. 22 miles away and its a really lonely road and i need a way to charge my phone so heres where i moved it to..

I had to move it because i have a cb where it should be.

My brother and i drove to falls lake today and the truck did very well. I really like driving it. when i first got it fixed i didnt trust it as much as i do now. it really is a blast to drive.

Ok so i have the driveshaft installed.. man that was more of a pita then i thought.. The one thing i really want to do to this truck is cut the roof skin off, and make a top for it.. i have seen people take the hole thing off but i just wanna take the top off, like right inside the drip rails.

Big update, I fixed my turn signals! i took apart the multifunction switch... nothing was wrong so i reassembled it and installed it and... Nothing happened. This is when i noticed that some of the wires were pulled out of one of the connectors. I used my leatherman to re insert them, and what do you know they work. I think they got pulled out due to me driving my truck one day and the steering column bolts came loose lowering the column.. pulling on the wires. So needless to say its fixed, but one of my taillights blew :p
I also tested my cigarette lighter hole, and it works! i moved it to my cup holders because my cb is in the way. I also did a lot of interior work today. All i have left to do is re-install the kick panel and fix my drivers side power window and the inside will be done. All i have to do now is get rid of a cel then i can get it inspected and back on the road!

congrats on the find. didn't read all the pages... what's wrong with your window? i had to drill a hole to get to the right bolt on my motor, which made it easier.

i have to replace the bushings again. I didnt have to drill any holes i just have to remove the door speaker to get to one of the bolts.

That's all mine got when I lived there, mine's a 92.

so they will ignore my check engine light? (i have no idea why i have one)

I do have to say good job so far on everything you have done you have come a long way with that ex. As far as the CEL goes my buddies 93 s10 got failed due to a CEL. They give you I forget how many days to get it fixed maybe 7 but I could be wrong. I would just probably call an inspection station and see what they say about it before I took it down there.

to be honest ill prolly disable the cel, since they dont do an obd emissions test they wont know the difference. i have to take my instrument cluster out anyway, got my fuel gauge set too low.

now you're thinking:D

So all i gotta do is fix a blown tail light, and the cel, then i can take it in.

That was going to be my next suggestion was to just pull the bulb out of it. Make sure all your external bulbs are working and your tires have good tread and you should be fine.

I have been wanting to replace my rear bumper, I drew up a sketch of what i want to do. It will be made of the same material as the front. The grey X is where the license plate will go.. what do yall think?

Well i did quite a lot of work to the ex today, Took my push bar off, and welded all the joints, made it a lot stronger. I also added Hooks to the front..
I fixed my CEL and my check oil light. I just unplugged them. lastly i fixed my drivers side power window, now only 1 window doesn't work
the last thing that i did was fix my fuel gauge, it was reading too low, and now that my explorer is on empty i was able to set it just right.
All i have to do know is plug a tire, and fix a blown tail light and i can take it in.
