You said the "no-police option"...are you saying we can order the PB-450-L with the white strobes? Or is there a PB-400 with a strobe option?

Yours looks real nice! I have a 2016 Sport, all black like yours. Based on the forum, I will be buying the Setina with White Strobes.

Just be aware that it will interfere with your front sensors, if you have them. See post 49 and 51 as explained in post 250.

I went with the Westin bull bar in powder coated black and Unity SAE approved clear fogs (I live on the coast).

I really wanted to get a Setina bar for my '17 Sport, but it seems that the front parking sensors are affected. Anyone know if its possible to disconnect the ones that are affected and still be able to use the ones to the right and left side of the bumper? Our garage is pretty small and the Sport barely fits so we use the front camera/parking sensors quite a bit. I assume its not possible and my wife will get her way (no push bar). But if there was any hope I figured I would find it here ;)

I don't know if disabling just a couple of sensors is possible. A push bar may also affect the function of the Adaptive Cruise Control and Forward Collision Warning with Brake Support if you have that.

      Thanks!
No AAC or Forward Collision, just the parking sensors (which are very nice). I just like the look of the Sport with the push bar. I figured it wasnt possible, I am surprised that there isnt a way to relocate them to accommodate the push bar. It would be awesome if Setina made a kit that would allow someone to move the sensors to the push bar.

      Hello there,
I just acquired a 2016 explorer limited, I will like to add a front bumper that is not too bulky like the PIUs and saw that NYPD uses some smaller ones that I think will look cool and add extra protection,

does anyone recognized the shape and possible manufacturer as to where to get them?

Be aware that such an add-on, depending upon the style, may affect some of the front sensors including the collision warning and Active Cruise Control.

I really like the Westin bull bar that you installed! What model Westin bar is it, and does it interfere with your parking sensors or adaptive cruise control? I have a 2016 Platinum, and am concerned about affecting the parking sensors and cruise control.

It's the Westin Contour Safari Bar. http://www.westinautomotive.com/contour-safari-bar/2013/ford/explorer

I don't have parking sensors or ACC on my Explorer.

      Hello,

I just got a new explorer today. Will a push bar work with this vehicle or will it go haywire with the front end sensors?

      Thank you

Your thread was moved here. I would gues that the 'bar' would likely cause some issues with the sensors mentioned in post #263 above. See this post in this thread; Push Bar for Explorer

      Hello everyone,
We are looking at front brush guards for our 18 Explorer. (We are in deer/elk country). Does anyone know if the front brush/grill guard will interfere with the front sensors?
      Thank you!

They shouldn't, if they're properly designed, which any reputable brand should be.

As Jon mentioned, it all depends on the design of the 'guard' that you are looking at. If you have 'Adaptive cruise control with forward collision warning with brake support' then check out my post here; Push Bar for Explorer Also, if you have the 'Forward Sensing System', then that is another item to take into account.
