Quality breakage on my Rancho lift

I had this Rancho 2.5" lift installed on my truck in Feb 1996, so that's over 19 years!
I've had a feeling something has been loose since I ran into a 2' boulder a few months ago, but I only found out what it was the other day when I did an in-depth look.
This is the drop bracket for the passenger side axle beam. It has 4 breaks/cracks between the two pieces. Two I think are from the boulder hit, two that have been there for years.
I'm at a local mechanics right now, he's attempting to repair the damage.

Weld it together until you can fab something a little more beefy?

He ended up doing a very decent welding job on it. It's all back together and hopefully good for the duration.
