      Hi
The glass door on rear hatch of 2000 explorer wont open by pushing button.
Want to investigate by removing rear interior door cover.
Expected it to be usual push fit studs all round the panel. Tried local levering with large flat screwdriver where panel was attached but just hear a snapping sound when tried first one.
How is panel held in place? whats the removal technique?
Expecting something small/silly for the rear button problem. Any common faults know here?
      Thanks in advance.

To remove the rear hatch cover. Remove the plug near the wiper inside and undo the single screw. The top levers off around the window. Then the whole panel rises up to unhook the bottom latches.

Job done, cover off, glass hatch now unlocked and fixed, wiggle here, wiggle there, magical WD40 and it locks and unlocks on the button just fine.
Undo screw, pull push fit plugs around top of door frame and the big bottom piece just lifts up and off.
      thanks
