just bought a 13 and the rear DVD players turn on and off fine, change sources fine but won’t read discs? I’m trying to locate the fuse that supplies power to the head units so I can pull it and hope it will reset.

Welcome to the 5th generation Explorer Forum.
If you check the fuse layout in the Owner's Manual you will see that there are several locations that are identified as "Not used (spare)". Perhaps they used one of those for the DVD system fuse. Otherwise there is no fuse identified for the DVD player. Do you know if it is the OEM system or an aftermarket one? By the sounds of it I doubt it is something that can be fixed by pulling a fuse. Have you brought this to the dealer's attention? Do you have a warranty?
Also, if you no longer have the '02 XLT, please update your profile or add it to a signature if you have both. Thanks.

Peter
