The power outlets (cigarette lighter) in the center console keeps blowing the fuse. I suspect the receptacle has twisted and shorted to the ground wire. It appears to get to it and replace it I need to remove the center console. I have taken every screw I can find out and it's still solid in place.

Some help would be great, what am I missing?

Thanks

7 mm in the front top pocket and under console lid and it pops off. (4) 8mm are under there. Then move the seats forward and there are 2 down in the outside back corners. Then give it a little bump toward the rear and it will slide out.

Let me elaborate a bit. After you get the secret screw out of the front pocket, lift up on the rear of that piece then pull backwards. After the prongs come out from under the dash, two bolts high in the front and 4 screws in the black plastic. Then the two bolts low in the rear.

I took the lid hinge off, then I took the bucket out, but that's because I didn't know what I was doing. You can get it out in one big piece or about 5 smaller pieces.
