Wow it's tricky threading the rack in and out! Especially with the rusted and fused fasteners (thanks to 13 N-E salty winters and 110,000miles! What's the secret to getting a credible access to the hose connections on the rack? Do I reach them from above,below,or the wheel well? Do I need to remove stuff to get at them? I've been warned that damage to the threads on the new unit renders it nonreturnable and I'm scared It took me two hours of struggling just to remove the bolt to detach the steering wheel shaft yoke from the gear. I ended up cutting the inner tie rods to wiggle the old one out. That made a rubrics cube look like a walk in the park! Any suggestions?
