OK, so here it is. Rescued it from Tennesse. Flew down and drove it 600 miles back home. The thing is so very clean, no rust, no dings, getting a work over and new everything from my 3 donors. She was rough mechanically, the 2.8 looked like someone let their kid in there with dikes. Vacuum hoses missing or capped, smog pump disconnected and the promise from the dealer that sent chills up my spine; "yep, we adjusted the carb and it seems to be working".... 13mpg home... Can you say "tune-up"? It's got the C-5 and no power anything, not even A/C, but that's OK, little by little...
