Satellite Radio

Hello,

I'm new here. I getting a 06 Eddie Bauer in a few weeks and have a question about satellite radio.

The car I am getting has the navigation system in it. Does anyone know if this unit is satellite ready? The dealer wasn't sure and the manual does not mention this.

i have the EB with the Navigation also. it is Satellite radio ready. Still waiting for Ford to come out with the Sirius Tuner for this application.Was told mid-february.

Thanks! I really want XM. There is an XM Direct box that makes the Ford headunit think it is talking to a Sirius, but it really is XM. They only list it as available for the Explorer up to 2005, but I have a feeling it will work on the 2006.

the 2006 is a totally different radio than the 2005.
