Shifting from Manual mode to Drive mode

On a 2015 Ford Explorer Sport, can you shift from "M" mode (manual mode) to "D" mode (drive mode) while driving, or do you need to stop before making a shift from M to D? Thank you in advance!!!

Welcome to the Forum Dave.
From your Owner's Manual;
Note: The system will stay in M (Manual) until the gear shift lever is
moved into another gear for example P (park) or D (Drive).
From that it would seem that you can move it into Drive while moving.
