I recently bought a 2014 Explorer XLT from an non-Ford dealer so I didn't get much of an overview of the Entertainment/Nav system. I've fumbled my way around learning how to use the My Touch system. I am wondering if there are any updates my system.

The CCPU S/W Version is 3.10.16180.EA.0_Product
      The Nav Version is 5.67.6
The SD Card Map Database is A4

From what I've read on these forums I can buy the A8 map database, which I found on Amazon for $62.

Looks like you have the latest version of MFT, V3.10. As for the navigation card, A8 is the latest but you have to be careful buying them from eBay and Amazon. There have been members who did that and found the card wouldn't work although more have had success than not. This thread may be of interest; A7 navigation map for SYNC 2 released
Did you get the Owner's Manual with the vehicle? If not, you can download a copy along with other info from here; Find Your Owner Guide | Vehicle Basics | Official Ford Owner Site
