Spare Tire Crank Handle

Hey all,

I just started working at a used car dealership as the lead tech (Yay me!! ) and we got a '98 Ranger extended cab in, and for the life of us we can't find the spare tire crank. The rig came in with the spare in the bed and we wanted it back were it belongs. I ended using the handle from my '91 X to put the spare back. So where did Ford put the crank handle in these rigs?

I'm trying to remember from when I had a Ranger years ago. It's either in the jack compartment, or under the hood like it is on F-150s.

Anyone here a current Ranger owner?
