I own a silver 03 Explorer XLT I bought it with another motor already in it. Drove it a month or so ..started one day had little power got a mile from home thought best to pull over and oil was everywhere back to shop I bought it from ..timing chain broke the rear one there is 4 if them ..wait two weeks to be told the motor was no good. I had another motor with a little over 100 k on it put in all new timing chains and hardware replaced. I began to love my silver bullet lol well two days I'm driving on hwy and hear a clunk it's -4 outside it dies ..get towed back to shop and it's jumped timing I'm told . I just had it serviced a week ago how can this be ?
