If I have put a Tod transfer case in a 03 merc mountaineer which is AWD an d it runs good,I just don't have any action up front,will this hurt my rig

What do you mean by “action”? Are you asking if running it in 2wd will hurt it?

Yes,I want to know if it will hurt it beings it' compatible but I'm not getting any power up front.the wiring was differ.so nothing to tell it to go into 4x4.i guess that is what' different about a AWD is the viscous bell it' supposed to give 35 % power to the front 65 to the rear ,when the rear spins the viscous acts like a centrifugal clutch activates 4x4 50 to 50 to the wheels

If it’s like the second gens, all the wiring is there ( for the same year) just the switch and ECM\PCM are different. You’d have been much better off using a non-TOD t case with 2wd/4hi/4lo with a manual shift lever, or slightly more work an electric shift.
