Hello everyone, I'm new to the forum and a new owner of a 2003 Ford Explorer XLT 4x4. I just bought the vehicle a few weeks ago and I've run into a 4x4 problem I can't find in searching the threads. The vehicle has 123,000 miles. My issue is that it will go into 4 high with no issue, the light on the instrument panel will light up and I can hear it engage underneath. When I push the button for 4 low, the button itself will flash a few times and go dark, with nothing lighting up on the instrument panel. There is also no engagement noises from underneath when 4 low is selected. I put the vehicle neutral when attempting 4 low. The 4 low worked on the test drive after a clicking inside the glove compartment, but now, no clicking and no 4 low. The listed 4x4 fuses are all good and nothing has changed since I bought it except a new battery. I am certainly not a mechanic, so please help me track this down. - Kenny
