updated pics of Explorer with lift and tires...

The first picture is last week after the spindles and 2 adda leafs in the rear...
also had the small 31 BFg's on...

The second picture is my new tires installed.. BFG'S again ...
33x12.50x15 BFG Mud tires...

the 3rd shocked me i guess i didn;t expect to buy basically new tires... but since they are really agressive thread oh my god when i turned and they actually rubbed.. and to think i was wanting 35's...
so the 3rd picture shows a little trimming i had to do it would not have rubbed at all if i didn;t have any steps on it...

I just received my 2 inch body lift in the m,ail today and i guess i am going to install it saturday or sunday.,. and i am hoping it still lks ok...
and no more rubbing i hope...
it still rubs on one side and i do not want to crank the t bars up anymore...
I am lucky the rims fit i kinda like them but need new lug nuts... they were for a Jeep wrangler and thank god they have same wheel pattern as Explorer..
that was good for me...
too bad my 15 inch bfg couldn;t fit onto my 2002 explorer...

265 70 16 Bridgestone Dueler for my 2002 Explorer...
picked up 4 basically new for less than $150.00
getting them mounted Wed for free at brother in laws school...

That's cause yours were ghey. They look a little different than yours were. I dunno..... Oh, and 2wd rawks!

Wow those 33s look big on that 2wd. As Rick said, much stouter.

Josh, I picked up a Ford 9" rear axle today. Half way there to full widths!!! If for some reason you realize that you need 4wd, shoot me a PM and I might be nice enough to sell you a Dana 35! Oh, and I hope you know that I am going to badger you about this like Caleb did about you buying his bumper.

3.73 limited slip.

it seems ok on the highway..
when i am going about 80 which i assume is really about 74 with the tires.
it rides so nice i must say...

american racing.. the guy bought them for a jeep wrangler recently/ and can not ue them anymore...


do you really not like the running boards,, i really like them bought them after i bought the truck just for that reason..

i wish my 2002 had come with the step..
