Water leak cargo area

02 sport. Do these suffer the same water leak issues around the rear windows as the 1st gen's?
I discovered today the hatch carpet is damp & the jute stuff is soaked. The side window doesn't appear to be like the 1st gen. Is it the same procedure to seal it back?

I’ve seen water drip from the top of my ‘04’s rear hatch in the center. Opening and shutting the door stops it, so I’m guessing it’s how the door (or window) catches the gasket.

That said, you have a vehicle based on the 2nd gen chassis, so there would probably be a difference which I can’t speak to.

So ok did both windows...Same as the 1st & 2nd gens.

What kind of shape are the hinges in for the glass? My 2003 has started to leak around the driver's side hinge where it attaches to the glass, because the hinge is starting to fail (the fitting is loose and because of crappy material quality, it can't be tightened). My 2004's hinges failed outright a few years ago.
