1996 Ford Explorer makes chattering noise occasionally after hitting a bump. I also have heard a chatter while breaking that I assumed was the anti lock bakes. Also the operators side front tire of the vehicle seems be wearing twice as fast at the rest. No noticeable pull while driving or braking. Seems to track alright.

Welcome to this forum! Check the front end bushings, bearings, control arms, tie rods ends, brake caliper bolts, and CV axles (if you have a 4WD).
Sorry about taking so long to reply, had death in family and have been out of town. Someone else suggested the same so as soon as I get a chance I will check that. I rotated the tire and cant find my gauge. I think the tire wear may be indicative of over inflation. I meant to check front end and forgot while I had it up on jack and stands. Sounds like sound advice. Thanks.
