Did this the other night, and liked it so much, I decided to do it again. I call it "G- Pie".

Using a casserole dish, I filled it half way with warm mashed potatoes, the other half with warm Beef stew and added peas. Topped it off with colby jack cheese, and baked it for 20 mins @ 350*

Not the same as Shepards pie, but close, thus the name change. Chased it with ice cold Milk.

I do this, minus the frozen vegetables, and serve over white rice. Works well with pork chops also.

Sometime, I also add a small can of chopped/diced green chiles.

^^^ Sounded good, so that's what for dinner. I mixed a can of cream of mushroom with a can of cream of celery. Only had one of each. I used two bone-in pork chops. and four boneless skinless chicken breast pieces. In the oven right now

I had a couple yellow bell peppers to use up, so cut those up in 1" pieces, tossed them in a metal pie plate, drizzled with olive oil, salt, pepper, and Italian Seasoning. Baked them to soften them up, and broiled them to get some color.

A small locally owned BBQ business who used to operate in the parking lot of where I work, is now operating a drive-thru only a few blocks away. I seen they were open, so I stopped to give them some business. Their special was a sliced pork tenderloin sandwich with one side for $5. Since I like all their sides I have tried, I told them one sandwich with BBQ beans, and one of every other side you have. Those were a "Tuscany Salad" (salad with homemade Italian dressing), rotini pasta salad (with a vinaigrette dressing?), and potato salad. All homemade, all good. They asked me if I like spicy food, I replied yes, and the gave me a homemade salsa to try. They also gave me a plum sauce they are experimenting with to pour on my sandwich.

I was at work tonight, and one of the guys dropped by where I work, and gave us two potato salads, and a rotini pasta salad. Last Saturday, they dropped by and gave us a small container of sliced pork tenderloin, two potato salads, and two rotini pasta salads.

Since my g/f's mom is dog-sitting, I made her a large pot of my version of this white bean chicken chili.

      http://www.myrecipes.com/recipe/white-bean-chicken-chili-2

Two onions cut up in ¼" pieces, and sautéed in 2 tablespoons olive oil until translucent. Add 2 cans roasted green chilies. Add five cans of drained and rinsed canned beans. I used red kidney, cannelloni, pinto, black, and great northern. Add six cups chicken broth. Add tablespoon salt, tablespoon black pepper, two tablespoons cumin, ¼ tablespoon cayenne pepper, ¼ tablespoon red pepper flakes. Add two leftover lemon pepper chicken breasts, chunked up. Simmer until fully heated. Take potato masher and mash the chili until some of the beans are smashed, some still whole. This will thicken the chili up, and shred some of the chicken.

Was on one-day vacation out of town, so I met a friend for a few late-night microbeers. Kinda hungry at midnight. So hit a local sub place that is open until 3am, so I got an 8" Comstock sub. Roast Beef, Provolone, Lettuce, Tomato, and Mayo. Got a side of hot banana peppers also. Left, but kinda wanted some chips to go with my sub. Grocery stores looked closed. Didn't really want the basic chips you find in a convenience store. McD's fries sounded good, and there was nobody in line at the drive-up. Got a small Quarter Pounder with cheese combo. Nice late-night mega meal...
