      I have a 2wd 1996 ford ranger with a 2.3 liter motor 5 speed transmission. Is that transmission compatible with a 1991 ford explorer 4.0 4wd please help I need to get my explorer on the road or the best recommendation to find a good cheap a4ld

      Nope. 2.3l uses a different bolt pattern then the 4.0l.
