Today Icarus' rear end underwent surgery, and now sports a locker! He'll be back out and about very very soon!
funny but the gears didn't look right for 3.73 so after counting twice we discovered it has 4.56 front and rear. That explains the ease of driving with oversized tires.
Nice! You guys got such a killer deal on this rig, and it just keeps getting better!
Oh look we have twins!
Any chance you'd consider selling one of them?
This family of 4 thing really screwed up my truggy ideas...
Buy the Eddie Bauer Colin, save it from TTB amputation! I would if I could, it's a perfect setup for a dual-purpose desert truck.
The EB would keep my first gen Explorer ownership to all white explorers.
..This thread keeps getting more and more interesting......
sorry kids the Eddie Bauer is MINE and is not for sale!
MOM has spoken!!!!!
After sitting on the trailer with a broken t-case for a season, Icarus got a new manual t-case and a shiny new rear bumper! complete with tire carrier. Now the dog has somewhere to ride!
Tank is much bigger now.
The bumper looks great, the new pup looks awesome
Bumper looks awesome. Clean and functional.

Very Sweet! There is no one around on this coast close to me anyway that mess with the explorers. Tons of jeeps but I'm trying to research everything to do my build. I told want to do ct beams and possibly soa rear. I really do want to swing out rear tire carrier style bumper just hard finding somebody that will do one that looks good. What are you looking to get for yours?
Nice! Well worth the money!
