hay man i used a dana 44 straigth axle out of a early bronco.. 76 or 77 is the best with disc brakes but earlier will work. you can swap the outer nuckles from a full size to get your disc brakes.. they are easy to install.. center it up where u want it and use radius arm bracket off a 78 or 79 full they are perfect then drill the holes but dont forget the drag like make sure it is centered, and at a good angle.
