After hangover, did some wireing and now OD works.

Update again... Kickdown adjustment worked for 1,2 and 3. Those two tranny wizards (father & son) just left my garage and results are: Electric cable from tranny to computer, near the socket (under the cup holder etc) burned and orange and pink are 100% cut. Heat, no shortcut. So....at least...

Problem solved. Answer? Pretty simple.... Too tight kickdown cable/acclerator cable misadjusted. Adjusted both (little by little), badabingbadabum...OD, 1, 2, 3 working, shifts correctly, all good here.

Ok, tranny has been swapped, but some of the problems are still present. So i figured ou that the main reason for my tranny problems aren´t related to the tranny. I mean there is something odd going on with the car.. 1. At morning it will go R (works ok) and OD,D,1 and 2 but it wont change gear...

Hello again! http://www.stellargroupinc.com/Catalog/Ford%20A4LD.pdf Last page (6) tell´s me that this part is number 56991 neutral switch. So what should i do with it? Can i just take the 5 pin one out from 94 tranny and re-place it over the 4 pin one in 91 (56991A)?

I have a 94 aerostar, but i´m taking rebuild tranny from 91. One problem is that old one (91) has 4 pin connector (neutral switch) and 94 has 5 pin connector. New cables or swap connector from 94 to 91?

Thanks! I got the column shift bracket (in my 93), so i guess when i take the car to the shop it is pretty easy job to do? Just take the floor shift bracket off and put the column shift bracket on? Is it kind of one on one thing? We don´t have that many aerostars here in Finland (maybe fifty...

Sorry my english, but i am wondering can a4ld tranny from 1990 4wd 4.0 xlt be swapped to 1993 4wd 4.0 xlt? I dont quite know how to say it english, but i do know that 90 model has a "floor stick" and 93 model has the "stick in steering wheel" and maybe some electrical changes between those two...
