How about dual exhaust that exits on the front of the rear tires? I haven't done it, but I have been considering maybe doing it to mine (ST limited 4.6L) Has anyone tried?

It's sad news! I wish they did have them! I have allergies and notice a diffrence between my Saturn that has one and my sport trac!!! Lol

There is no cabin air filter on the 2007+ sport trac's

Sport trac's don't have flashers it's an electronic module

Must be updated is all, but for some reason after I updated mine it would make my truck run like crap, so I sold it to an f150 guy!

It's basically a plastic box, it most defiantly should not be done!!

I have seen this happen to multi-plexed hwy tractors, I'm pretty sure there is a headlight module, and if there is then it needs to be replaced (atleast thats the case in the multi-plexed hwy tractors I work on)

Special plugs that are only designed for the 4.6L an 5.4L. I have no idea the part number but the tips and body o the plug looks different from Normal plugs

It looks like cylinder 2 is most likley your problem, that is the second cylinder from the front on the passenger side Here is a diagram; Check plug & coil

Any OBD2 code reader will work on your truck

Ya best now is getting codes scanned, you can get a cheap scanner from Walmart that will do the trick

They are should be firm agenst the plug, the coils are bolted down on the plugs, make sure they are tight. If they are all tight then you for sure need to scan the check engine light to narrow down the problem!

Also, you should scan the check engine light to see excally what it is!!! If the misfire is the same cylinder it could be a plug or coil, if its any cyclinder most likley a fuel issue!

If it's starving for fuel it will misfire, misfires make the check engine light flash. When was the last time the plugs were done?

Fuel filter could be a good place to start (if its never been changed) its pretty easy to do and doesn't cost to much!

There is a lever on the drivers side in the box above the wheel well

You should be doing this while you are starting the truck... So it stays up...

You see it more in cars with dex-cool (chevy thing) but I haven't came across that in any of my fords. Basically its the coolant breaking down. Flush is a good idea!

Not linkage, it's ether fluid gone or the forward clutch is burnt out. Will it go into reverse?

Nothing to do with back pressure, it's two problems. One, the actual manifold warps due to the exhaust heat. Two, because of the warped manifold (sometimes the manifold gasket can take up the space) the stud actually breaks. It's a manufacturing defect but ford doesn't seem to think...

Possibly needs an ignition lock cylinder, I have heard of this happening before with the 07's
