It appears that my sons 2023 Explorer has the module and antenna, but not activated to appear as an option. Has anyone used Forscan to turn it on? It appears that this also happened to the Mach E guys, module installed but not activated.

The sales person was as surprised as us that there was no delete for this item on the window sticker or the build sheet. When we got there and saw that the function did not work, they had a service tech look under the car and he said all of the components are there., module and all. Apparently...

Thanks, have looked at a bunch and not finding any with the "Hands Free Tailgate" option installed. I may have to look back to 2021.

I need a vin for a 2022 Explorer or the likes, for comparison. We want to turn on via ForScan the Handsfree tailgate release. 2023 Explorer was shipped with all the parts, but is turned off in programming. Or if anyone knows the line in the BCM. Thanks

I could not find it listed anywhere, deleted or not. I contacted the dealership and they said "it is standard equipment on the 301A package." Guess we will be finding out real soon!

Received notice that car has shipped and dealer said they indicate that it will arrive on Dec 16, 2022. No indication of anything not included except the auto start stop that he did not want and the 4G Hot spot.

Son received notice last night that his 2023 Limited Explorer is built and waiting shipping, which could take "a few days to a week."

We have no record of that being deleted. The window sticker only show's the auto start stop deleted, but he requested that. There is nothing on the window sticker indicating "deleted" with a credit. Fingers crossed! Dealer said nothing deleted, vehicle as we ordered it.

Got email yesterday, Dec 2, 2022, vehicle produced delivery slated for Dec 20, 2022. No deletions!

Order went in late August. In September he received notice it was going to get built week of Nov 28, 2022. No notification of any deletes at that time, need to wait for actual build time. Yesterday October 4, 2022, he got an update that the build was moved to the week of December 5. 2022...

I verified with Ford that X Plan no longer exisists for stock holder.

Its my sons car and I will not have the new injector pigtail until Wednesday and wont be back over until thursday to check. Will advise back then and hopefully he has driven enough to please the reset in the system. Thanks
