Are you sure the antenna moves up,and down?Sounds like an aftermarket,powered antenna.If that's the case,it goes up,and down,when you turn the radio on,or off.

It happens randomly,out of the blue.I could be parked,engine running,and all of a sudden the light turns on.Pulling the bulb would be the easiest fix,but not my preferred choice.
