vibration/70mph I did that and checked the wheesl to see if they were bent, they weren't. This started somewhat sudden, it may be a tire, but didnt know if the radius arm bushings were to blame as well.

I have noticed a vibration that occurs when my '91 is moving a 70mph. What could it be? What should I look for? I've been told that it need radius arm bushings - could this be related? Does the front axle need to come out in order to replace the radius arm bushings? Thanks.

My '91 4WD has begun a popping noise when I go over speed bumps(in 2WD), what could this be? It is all stock with no lift and I rarely get it off of the pavement. Also, where can I get a top quality rebuilt or new steering box? Thanks, Keith

My steering box is in need of replacing. Where can I get a top quailty rebuilt unit. Also, my lifters are ticking (I have good oil pressure), have any upgrades been made on the 4.0 lifters? BTW mine is a 91 4x4 with 153K.

No, it's a Ranger. I drive this thing everyday and want to maintain at least 18mpg. I have also heard that the 2.9 to 4.0 is alot simpler than the 5.0 swap. Thanks!

What heads are you all talking about? I need to pull the heads on my '91 Exp soon to do some lifter work. Are these Ford heads or after market heads? Part numbers? How much do they raise the compression?

The crank position is on the front of the engine, just behind the main engine pully.

I have ran up on an '87 Ranger long bed 4WD, can I put an 89 -92 front on it, i.e. hood, fenders, gril, and bumper? I think the 89-92 look better and would like to change mine if I could. Anybody done this? I also thought about changing the dash to the newer style, but that may not happen. Thanks

I need to remove the heads on my 91 Exp. Where and what size tool do I need? I am also doing some other engine work. Is there any improvements I can make over stock and still maintain good fuel milage? Thanks

I guess what I am asking is, does the pully come off of the tensioner on these trucks? Has anyone ever done this? Thanks

The pully doesn't cost that much, but the tensior cost about $70. I thought I would put a pully on the tensior and avoid the cost of the tensior. Thanks
