It is the tint, not gunsmoke. I got gunsmoke for the foglights but it didnt fit right cause it was cut for the regular explorer. They are sending me some new film out for the foglights. The film is pretty easy to install. I have this on all my vehicles and it keeps the headlights looking new.

Went up from 20.5 to 21.7

The plate that comes with the k&n redirects the air towards the filter on the right side of the engine bay. I made a trip today with this intake and I am now getting a little over one more mpg then I was before.

The shield that is with the K&n actually directs the air towards the filter.

I just know from dealing with other turbo vehicles that it makes a difference. Especially once you get tuned for it. I guess I should have done some before and after gtech pulls...oh well. Intakes Ive installed on my other vehicles have always increased mileage too.

I would also like to add that I went over all of the factory hose clamps on the plumbing and some were pretty loose. Everyone should be sure to go over these with an 8mm driver. I know i read a thread here about someones piping coming loose.

Well here is the first K&N Typhoon intake to be installed on a Sport. The fit was spot on and I had zero issues. I love that it came with a metal deflector to direct cold air to the filter. Can here the turbos spooling now.
