I need to pull a cam sensor out of a 94 & swap it to another motor. Any tips or advice on the removal/install would be appreciated!

I have a 93 parts truck that I am using as a donor for the new motor in my 94. My 94 has egr, and I’d like to get rid of it. How do I bypass the dpfe in the 94? What else do I need to swap over from the 93 to make this happen? Thanks!

My truck has 4.88 gears and will slam you back in your seat off the line, but through the mid to high range it's really lacking. It just seems like it needs more fuel. Anyone ran into this before i throw a new fuel pump in. It does have a new fuel filter, and other than this issue it runs great.
