Do I have to go to dealer for key code

I know that the PC version of Forscan with the Extended Lic allows access to keycode and programming keys/remotes. I think the obd2 scanner needs to be able to do MS-CAN ( Ford PID ) to be able to acheive this. but i could be wrong. I use OBDLink MX Bluetooth connected to a Dell laptop. easy-peasy

Spent $480 Already for Roaring and vibration noise please help

Spent 1200 bucks on my '10 2wd Xlt chasing the same noise. The last thing that I did , that cured it was . Passenger (right) Rear wheel bearing! I swore it was coming from front end, on driver side (left). Drove me battshit- crazy. I vote Right Rear Wheel Bearing for sure.

    Recommendations on scanner tools

I have been using a 'OBDLink MX' bluetooth scan tool, it has MS-CAN also for the Ford PID. I leave it connected all the time and have it display onto a Samsung tablet mounted on dash. Not 1 problem as of yet , was around 70 bucks on Amazon.
