i have an obdlinkmx bluetooth obd2 scanner , i use that connected to my laptop along with forscan and it will allow the reading of the keycodes , can program keys and almost anything. 2010 xlt 2wd btw
Spent 1200 bucks on my '10 2wd
Xlt chasing the same noise. The last thing that I did , that cured it was . Passenger (right) Rear wheel bearing! I swore it was coming from front end, on driver side (left). Drove me battshit- crazy. I vote Right Rear Wheel Bearing for sure.
I have been using a 'OBDLink MX' bluetooth scan tool, it has MS-CAN also for the Ford PID. I leave it connected all the time and have it display onto a Samsung tablet mounted on dash. Not 1 problem as of yet , was around 70 bucks on Amazon.
