A follow up....while I had the upper plenum and intake manifold removed. I contemplated pulling both cylinder heads and having them magnafluxed. Since I couldn't detect coolant in any of the cylinders and all the plugs looked normal/clean, I decided to refrain from pulling the heads, reassemble...
