2016 Ford Explorer Key Fob battery confusion

I read this: different key fob batteries but still have questions. I saw a Youtube video for a 2016 Ford Explorer key fob and so bought two CR 2025 batteries that won't fit. (attachment) Looking around it seems some people have to use CR2032. Is that what I need? Honestly, the owner's...

Do the little convex mirrors in the side mirrors need adjusting in 2016 Ford Explorer XLT?

I got the 2-in mirrors like Peter suggested except mine don't swivel. They work great for me. I don't even notice Ford's little mirrors now.

Question about rear air conditioning control buttons in back seat

Thanks a lot, Peter. The photo helps. I don't have "E" on mine but besides that it's pretty much the same. (And all I need to know.)

Question about rear air conditioning control buttons in back seat

Thanks a lot, Toddman. And--lol--I didn't know that was a cupholder.

Question about rear air conditioning control buttons in back seat

What do the two buttons do in the rear A/C? (With just the top button depressed the A/C fan seems to run harder and the air seems cooler.) Thanks. PS. Another question. The panel on that bottom circle keeps falling off. Any tricks to keeping it on?

defrost doesn't unfreeze wiper blades frozen to windshield

Hi Peter. With so many Explorers sold in snow country you would think keeping it would be a no-brainer.

defrost doesn't unfreeze wiper blades frozen to windshield

Wow, thank you for the super thorough response. I tracked with everything except got a bit lost with: I wasn't sure what "it" was and why I would need to lug the windshield wiper jug every time I stepped outside the vehicle. Did you mean that the wiper blades were regularly freezing to the...

defrost doesn't unfreeze wiper blades frozen to windshield

I just got two new wiper blades because I wrecked one lifting it off the frozen windshield. (I just got this Explorer a couple of months ago.) Now there was a bit of an ice storm, nothing terrible, and the blades were frozen on the windshield again. So I ran the defroster for 15 minutes. The...

Yeah, you guys south of us got it worse this time. (I'm just outside Chicago. We only got 6 inches.)

Tire pressure sensor fault light on

Yeah, who knows, technology is quirky. Plus this SUV was in the deep south before it got here. (It might be the sensitive type!) We've had below zero weather too this winter, but who knows, we might have the 80s soon. The weather is just completely topsy turvy.

How to see all four tire pressures in the Information Display?

Okay. I looked in Display Mode before, and the up and down arrows gave two options neither of which were Tire Pressure, but I did not push the arrows continuously. So I'll give it a try. Thanks very much.

How to see all four tire pressures in the Information Display?

Thanks but by "scroll" do you mean the up and down arrows? And then, don't the arrows give you specific categories like: "Display", "Settings", "Driver Assist" and then subcategories within each? Are you saying just clicking on the up and down arrows will eventually lead to the Tire Pressure...

How to see all four tire pressures in the Information Display?

I saw it once. All four tire pressures were displayed in the Information Display on the dash. Now I can't access it. In the Owner's Manual, I read the Information Displays section completely and it says should be available (I have Type 2) via Display Mode > Tire pressure on demand but from...

Tire pressure sensor fault light on

Thanks. It was cold for sure. Maybe 15 degrees. Googling around I saw someone said that the cold caused the light to come on, and I'm pretty sure that's what happened to me too. It came on for about two days, and now it hasn't been on for a week or so. So I think I'm good.

Tire pressure sensor fault light on

Thanks a lot, Peter. Yes, I checked the tires' pressure. They were all good. And the tire pressure sensor fault no longer comes on. (I don't know why.) Thanks for the link on the tire sensor repair. And I just got done going through Information Displays, and I learned a lot of great stuff...

Tire pressure sensor fault light on

(I've only had the (2016 XLT) Explorer a couple of months.) Just driving around the tire pressure sensor fault light came on, and the little lit-up icon of a tire tread. It came on, then was gone for a few days. Now it's back. I got the Explorer from a friend, and he had all the tire pressure...

No hitch. But I do hear beeps whenever I get close to anything. Thanks.
