The window will not go down using drivers master switch or the switch on the passenger door, if you press it to go up with interior lights on,the lights dim a bit trying either switch, but they will not dim if you try the down position. This just happened all of a sudden. Any clues?

I have friend that bought a new 2002 explorer xlt 2 months ago, and he wants to stop the ex from locking all doors when he puts it in gear. Dealer told him he can't do it, the dealer has to do it. My 99's book told me how to do it, but his doesn't. any help?

I don't have fuel pump noise, mine is ignition noise! Any fix for this, put new ignition wires on 11 months ago but problem is still there. The new wires are Motorcraft of course.

Where is the radiator drain petcock on 99 XLT? Do you have to remove the plastic guard below radiator to get to it? Oh by the way it is a 4.0 V6.

I got a recall on my 99 Explorer the other day, It was for Powertrain Calibration Update. Took it in today, and what they did was reprogramed the computer. Funny name for reprograming!
