Hey I found the fix for our problem and it worked 100%!! Finally after battling this whine noise for over a year i found the fix the problem is in the Head Unit(HU) itself it isn;t properly grounded so grab some 14 gauge wire or so and wrap it around these two screws and around the rca terminals...

i took it into ford to get looked at and they hooked it up to a scanner and cleared all the error messages and found nothing in the scan... and it did fix the flashing light problem.. They never flash and i can put it into 4x4 High or Low now...
