There's a good flyover vid on the Coachella Valley page on FB/Instagram of the Box Canyon washout. I was in Pioneertown Friday night and it was getting pretty bad up there. Roads turned into rivers...it was a little scary getting back home to the low desert.

Right on...I ended up going Thursday and was going to stay Friday for the big race. Forgot I had a Dr. appt. On tues so didn't make it to the shootout. I lasted all of 3 or 4 hours at KOH when I cracked my oil pan bombing the desert going from Choc Thunder to Backdoor.

You might get it to engage back into 2wd by tapping on the shift motor with a wrench. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesnt. If that doesn't work, you can remove the shift motor and manually turn it back to 2wd with some pliers. That will at least get you back to 2wd. If it turns out to be...

It's below the pitman arm and single shear. I have a dropped arm from a 4.5" superlift kit.

I've been running hi mis spacers along with a reducing spacer (3/4 to 5/8) at the pitman as well as the knuckle end with no problems. I use F911 hardware all the way around so not worried about breaking a bolt. The rod end will probably break before anything else.

Im planning on going monday night for the Shootout at least...still deciding to stay tues and wed.

Good stuff Matt. Love the press brake, I'm sure you'll be making some cool stuff with that. The vice grip holder is a good idea, that would work good mounted to a bunch of different places.

I might go to KOH, not doing any wheeling though. Just need the Ranger for getting around. Going to drop the insurance after this trip.
