Does anybody have experience running sans transfer case shift motor? I've tried to rebuild it but evidently didn't do it right. just wondering if anyone has ever run without it. Will it screw me up?

all of the hoses and caps blew off of the vacuum fitting that sits to the right (driver's side) rear of the intake manifold. I've got a 91 eddie bauer edition with 4x4, cruise control, a/c, auto trans., pretty much loaded. The thing will only run if I cap off all the ports. please help me...
