Here is a strange answer to transmission problems and other problems. I replaced my battery and it fixed the tranny, transaxle, and door lock problems. Don't ask me for an explaination other than it worked. Comments very much welcomed.

I think you are right on! I had the t-case replaced about a year ago and I can't believe that even a used t-case has gone bad this quickly. TYrue, anything is possible, but I would say that the chances are fairly slim. Thanks!

E-ROCK Thanks Dude! I'll wait for what you find. The last time this happened (clanging and slipping) I had to have the tcase replaced. Now it's happening again. Maybe it's a poor design or maybe my mechanic put in an over-used tcase to save money. Glad I joined this site!
