Seems like everyone is always having to pull their transmissions apart on these things so I was wondering if anyone might have an extra Transmission Range Sensor they would want to part with? I have a '96 XLT, 4x4, 4.0L OHV with the 4R55E trans. and the ford part number is F5AZ7A247A. They're only available from the dealership and if it turns out that the range sensor isn't the problem, I'd at least be able to live with myself knowing I'm supporting a fellow explorer owner and paid a fraction of what the dealership charges. Thanks.

It's the switch that mounts to the driver's side of the trans., is hooked up through the shift linkage and has a big electric plug towards it's top side.
