Question Chips & Dip

Can you folks who installed chips give me the low down on your mileage before/after?

Also, how much of the "effect" is due to altering the shift points on the auto trans? I've got a manual and wonder if a chip will do much good.

Thanks!

Mine didn't change when I put the chip in. Of course, I found the modest increase in acceleration to be enjoyable, so I'm probably pushing it a bit more.

With my Hypertech, you can run 89 or 93 gas. Before the chip, I got around 14/18. With the chip and 89, I get 16/20. With the chip and 93, I get 18-20/25 (and a whole lot more power).

Hope this helps!
