91-94 xlt.. door speakers; what size?

pretty much what the subject says.. what size are the speakers in the doors (front and back) for 91-94's? I'd go measure 'em, but my explorer isn't here now

Stock speaker size is 5"x7"/6"x8". You can fit a 5.25" speaker with an adapter plate. You can also squeeze a 6.5" speaker in there with a little custom work (i.e. homemade MDF adapter plates). Hope this worked.

To reply to the umpteenth thread of this nature (use the search engine, people), all four corner speakers are 5x7s. 6x8s will fit there also. You can also put up to 6.5" components in there with adapter plates, most people that do components put 5.25" in there.
