Radio Failure?

Well, I'm driving an '02 and decided to put my system in it. I took out the stock radio and replaced with a nice Pioneer. All the connections were wrapped in electrical tape and it worked fine. The next day, I decided to put my subs and everything in. Me and a friend did it, but when we finished the radio didnt work.(note* radio was workin 30 mins earlier before we put stuff in) We unconnected amp and everything and still didnt work. Then I put my stock radio back in so it didnt work either. Therefore, Im assuming its just a lose connection somewhere or something like that. Anyone know whats goin on? Thanks

Is there a radio fuse? Did you disconnect the battery when you were installing all this stuff?

We checked the fuse on the radio and it was fine. We never connected the power wire from the amp to the battery either.

Looks like you have to go in with a test light or digital multimeter at the connector and see if your getting voltage on the power (usually the bigger wire)

there are two fuses for the radio. a constant and a switched. suggest checking them all or look in your owners manual to see what's listed under each circuit (if they still put it in the manual). most all radios will not power up if they don't have both 12V's and ground
