 For that young car guru coming of age, here is a neat little toy called Automoblox:  Automoblox are modular wooden vehicles cabable of swapping pieces with each other.  Color-coded sections interlock to allow kids to design thier own vehicles. Each features a multi section body, geometrically keyed occupants, oversized wheels, and unique tires.
