I seen one sitting at a local shop. I guess the guy ripped the cone right out of the basket or something like that.

Edit: HAHA.. I think it was the one in that video actually. Stay Tuned is the shop.

i strongly disagree! ive been on the termlab running only one of my kicker kx1200.1 amps and hit 148.6 db's at 45.6 hz in an 11.83cubic foot ported box. with 3 more 1200.1's it would easily be pushed into the low 150's

the resonant frequency of my truck is low to mid 50 hz range, if my box was tuned to 50-53hz it would probly hit a 150 right now.

I've meet the guy (Brad) with the 18 Solo-X now... He had a RE 15 SX in there and we smoked it after the comp. I have a vid up at www.realmofexcursion.com look under RE Audio SX. I also have some videos up there of my temp SX 15.

Now I bought 2 DD 3510d's and will be running about 1000wRMS+ each daily. I think I might buy a SoundStream XXX and stick it in my old brahma box (5.5 cubes tuned to around 38hz) and give it about 5000wRMS off a XX-Goliath or whatever I feel like buying.

Well I have an expedition now, but the goliath fit fine in the ex I dont remember the length off the top of my head but I think it was around 30" or so w/ endcaps, it would fit anyway I wanted in the explorer. Now I have room for 4 or more

Cool, that will work great then. I have about 41.5" between the wells and more in front and behind them.

I think it's just the video, I put a few vids up on realm and they all sound like that, maybe your computer speakers cant handle bass? j/k maybe something to do with the recording etc.

How bout giving me the amp too? hehe..

And vids usually sound like shit because camera microphones cant reproduce the sound it is receiving.

very true ....that is still in the production stage though. i am trying to figure out how i could wall out the X behind the back seats with 2 solox 18's and still have room to fit 8 kicker 1200.1's and prolly like 6 or more batteries! cuz i still want my back seats.

will be louder with a crx style ported enclosure rather than a wall behind the rear seats.

i doubt anyone cares anymore, but i have some serious local competiors around me and i talk to them alot, they all run MT's and IA 40.1s/20.1s, ive seen a ton solo X 18 recones that have cracked cones and what not, they said the 18's are pure garbage, but the 12s and 10s are decent, the 18" cone is too big and starts flexing and ends up cracking

I wish my Goliath didnt burn up on me

I personally wouldnt go over 10" for speakers.. If you want good bass get a JBL GTi 15" sub and a 6000watt amp :p

yea there are many superior large woofers out there for both SPL and daily driving.
